On April 5, 2004, a conference, Up-to-date laboratory at an enterprise, will take place in the conference hall of the Russian State Standards Administration within the framework of the International exhibition, AnaliticaExpo-2004.
The conference is dedicated to the compliance of up-to-date laboratories with the new Federal Technical Regulation Law and to the practical application of new GOSTs, namely, GOST R ISO/MEC 17025-2000, General requirements imposed on the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, and GOST R ISO 5725, Precision of testing techniques and results, in testing labs.
During the conference, the Metrology Department of the State Standards Administration, as the central body of the national system of accreditation of analytical labs, will pay much attention to the acknowledgement of competence of testing labs.
Those present at the conference will discuss labs automation and the use of special cutting-edge information technologies in the work of labs at industrial enterprises (lab information systems, experience of their introduction at Russian enterprises, their integration in ERP systems, and their cost efficiency).
Speakers will include heads and specialists of the Russian State Standards Administration; Association of Analytical Centers, Analytics; Russian Scientific Research Institute of Metrological Service; Ural Scientific Research Institute of Metrology; and industrial enterprises.
Participants of the conference will be offered a free visit to AnaliticaExpo, an International Exhibition of analytical and lab equipment, techniques and materials for testing, control, and research in all industries, taking place from 5th to 8th April in the Sokolniki Exhibition Center in Moscow.
