Balakovorezinotechnika JSC, Balakovo, Saratov region, began to direct supply components for Chevrolet-Niva, a car made by GM-AvtoVAZ.
Till the end of the last year, Balakovorezinotechnika supplied components (molded and unmolded general mechanical rubber goods, noise insulation products, and so on) via AvtoVAZ JSC. GM-AvtoVAZ and Balakovorezinotechnika concluded a corresponding agreement in December, 2003.
At the end of February, a delegation from GM-AvtoVAZ visited the Balakovo plant and inspected shops producing components for the new off-highway vehicle.
Visitors discussed testing, special packaging, and acceptance testing of the goods supplied and pointed to the good organization of production.
