Yesterday rcc.ru informed about Mr. A. Dyukov, JSC AK Sibur President, visiting the Tyumen region, which resulted in signing the cooperation agreement between the company and the region. Today, on March 12, the holding CEO met Mr. A. Tuleev, the Kemerovo region governor. According to Sibur press service the parties discussed a number of issues related to the holding operations in the region (Kemerovo-based JSC Azot and JSC Ortron are located at the territory of the region).
The parties noted that the established dialog between the regional and company executives facilitates favorable conditions for business activities at the territory of the Kemerovo region. It was also noted that the holding companies had been recently posting steady growth rates, paid the regional and city taxes on a regular basis and also actively participated in solving social problems.
As a result of the meeting Mr. A. Tuleev and Mr. A.Dyukov signed a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement the regional administration shall provide the Sibur affiliated companies with tax exemptions and other benefits for investment project implemented in the interest of the region. On the other hand Sibur shall be responsible not only for technical condition, timely upgrades, renovation and safe operations of the plants but also for financial standing of JSC Azot.
The agreement stipulates that the parties shall effect coordinated policy in the field of welfare and employment of AK Sibur workers. The agreement also provides for the salary increase for JSC Azot employees.
