In February 2004 all performance indicators of Voskresens Mineral Fertilizers operations exceeded the results of 2003. For example 60 940 tons of fertilizers were produced in February 2003, but this year the production was 64 547 tons. Since the beginning of the year the plant has produced 133 911 tons of fertilizers, which is 18 247 above the same period of 2003.
In February 2004 the phosphoric acid production target was fulfilled to 102.18%. 34 730 tons of acid were produced (in terms of 100% P2O5), while last February 32 131 tons of acid were produced. 71 476 tons of the phosphoric acid were produced in January-February of 2004, or 10 502 tons above the level of the same period in 2003.
In February 2004 sulphuric acid production schedule fulfillment rate was 100.02%. 95 260 tons of sulphuric acid of all grades (in terms of monohydrate) were produced that month. 90 400 tons of sulphuric acid were produced in February 2003. 196 860 tons of sulphuric acid were produced within two months of this year while only 172 900 tons were produced within the same period of the last year.
The ammonia production also grew. 10 089 tons were produced in February 2003 (in terms of 100% NH3), while 15 170 tong were produced in February 2004. 31 528 tons of ammonia have been produced since the beginning of the year. Last year this figure for the same period amounted to 20 269 tons.
