The Russian government approved new export customs duties rates for the products made of oil, which are exported from the Russian Federation beyond the borders of the Customs Union member-states. Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov signed an appropriate resolution.
According to the resolution the export duty rate per one ton of crude oil or crude petroleum products shall amount to $35.2. The export duty rate per one ton of light distillates is $31.7, per 1 ton of medium distillates is $31.7, per 1 ton of gas oil is $31.7. The same rate is stipulated for liquid fuel as well.
This resolution shall come into effect 1 month after it is officially published, except for crude oil and crude oil products rate that shall become effective as of April 1, 2004.
