According to the schedule approved by the company management JSC Nizhnekamskneftehim production units started the production facilities shutdown overhauls season of 2004.
Two synthetic rubber plants and central gas fractionation plant #1 of divinyl and hydrocarbon feedstock were shutdown for overhaul. Currently the works are performed only by the technicians of Tatspetsneftehimremstroi trust and 4100 shop (NKNH affiliated company that produces pipeline parts and performs process installation maintenance).
Four vessels – three condensate separators and a knockout drum – are to be brought to compliance with the standard requirements. Only the latter one was purchased while the others were fabricated by the mechanical repair plant of JSC NKNH.
The plant experts believe that everything is going on as scheduled. The current progress rate would permit to complete the overhauls within the scheduled 15 days.
As it was the case in the previous years the major works planned for this overhaul are related to the equipment internal examination and hydraulic-pressure testing, and defining the equipment remaining service life. Additional installation operations are to be performed at the synthetic isoprene rubber plant according to the one-step isoprene synthesis facility construction project.
